The enchanting Churdhar peak in Sirmaur is one of the highest Peak of Shivalik ranges at a height of 11965 feet. The Churdhar peak happens to be the highest peak in the outside Himalayan range. This peak is also known as Churi-Chandni-Dhar. It is named after Shri Chureshwar or Shirgul Maharaj because locals believe that they lived here in ancient times.
